Every year I wake up to my mom singing happy birthday, this year, that didn’t happen. If I would have known last years would be the last I would have recorded it. She worked her hands to the bone for me and did everything she could, so I could have a good life, and she is my hero. Thanks mom for everything.</p> <p>Next to her is LCpl Budd Cote, he was a brother to me. One day he fell asleep and when he woke up we told him one of our friends put his wiener in his mouth. He freaked out and threw a knife at him, it was funny. He enlisted in the USMC and gave his life for the country, and today we remember him, another hero.</p> <p>When my mom passed, I actually picked out her burial spot not too far from his, so today I get to visit both of them, which I do a lot anyways, but with it being my birthday and Memorial Day, today is extra special. I must say, she stole the show and it was quite epic. This was to benefit the Candlelighters of Nevada organization which helps fight childhood cancer, and to benefit his niece Jordan (<a href="http://heroesforjordan.org/"><a href="http://heroesforjordan.org/">http://heroesforjordan.org/</a></a>). He broke the record today at 2pm and started at noon on Friday for a total of 50 hours, and he also broke the record for number of most sketches drawn in 50 hours.
